Sledding Game Infinite Cocoa Glitch: Recorded Method and Status

The reported glitch takes a bottomless cup out of the lodge drinking minigame by interrupting entry with the pause menu. Original players give PC and Xbox input sequences, but they disagree about achievement tracking. There is no matching post-September reproduction in the inspected records.

Original May reports and creator descriptions, compared with September patch notes. Historical reproduction is documented here; current exploit success and achievement counting are not guaranteed.

What the original method does

The cup comes from the drinking minigame rather than the normal cocoa dispenser. In the reported exploit, interrupting the entry sequence leaves the minigame’s large cup available outside the minigame, letting the player keep drinking from it.

These are dated source records, not a tested current input recipe. If the current game simply enters or exits the minigame normally, that is not proof that a key remap will restore the old exploit.

What September does and does not confirm

The September developer notes fix Barista triggering from the hot cocoa dispenser. They do not announce a successful infinite-cup reproduction, and the inspected original player reports predate that patch. A fix to the dispenser achievement does not by itself prove that the separate minigame exploit was fixed or remains usable.

One player says drinking from the infinite cup did not track as expected and that ordinary cups were needed afterward; another says the achievement appeared at their expected count. MatthewLockedin also advises drinking a full normal cup after the exploit. Those reports do not establish a reliable shortcut or conversion between a liquid statistic and completed cups.

The current status is therefore unconfirmed after September 21, rather than “working on every platform” or “definitely patched.” If checking your own build, record its version, the store, what happens to the cup and whether an ordinary cup changes the achievement result.

Keep the three cocoa goals separate

GoalRecorded conditionWhere to continue
BaristaMake 1,000 cups; September notes fix the dispenser trigger.Use the ordinary hot cocoa dispenser and the achievement reference.
Drinking GameThe player achievement guide specifies drinking 1,000 cups.Normal cups avoid relying on the disputed bottomless-cup tracking.
Cocoa Cup HatUnlock guides record 100 cups’ worth, expressed as 1,000 liquids consumed; separate from the 1,000-cup achievement.Follow the Cocoa Cup Hat guide and its stated condition.

Making a cup and drinking one are different actions. A liquid-consumed statistic is also not interchangeable with a number of completed cups. Keep checking the actual target reward rather than expecting one infinite-cup session to complete all three goals.

If a different minigame is the task, return to the minigame guide. If an already-earned reward disappears after reconnecting, use the lost-progress checklist.
