Sledding Game Best Sled? Comparing Sled Types

There is no verified universal “best sled” in the available player reports. Choose first for passengers, a manageable landing and the run you want to repeat. Player reports suggest candidates, but they do not provide a current controlled speed ranking.

Steam community preferences recorded around the early release period. The comparison method below is for your own current build, not a claim that this site tested the sleds.

Start with the task, not the ranking

Your goalWhat to compare

Finish a race consistentlyRepeatable steering, recoverable crashes and clean landings on that course.

Make a useful comparison in your own build

  1. Keep the conditions fixed

Use the same lobby settings, route, starting point, player count and approach. Record which sled you selected and the game build/date.

  2. Repeat complete attempts

Record completion time and failed landings for several runs. Include ordinary attempts rather than choosing only one successful outlier.

  3. Choose for your goal

A faster successful run may still be less reliable for you. Keep seat capacity and acquisition effort separate from time.

  4. Retest after a relevant update

The September patch changed mounting and ragdoll rotation behaviour. A comparison from an older build should not be treated as a current result.

Use the racing guide to distinguish a race result from a trick-score goal.
