Sledding Game Fox Unlock Guide

Unlock the base fox by completing the fox statue’s three-target puzzle above the eastern lift. Arctic Fox is a later variant: use the base fox and land upside down on your sled 50 times. The two conditions should not be combined.

Get the base fox first

The fox statue awards the normal/base fox. The upside-down condition awards Arctic Fox only while you are using that fox. Starting the second task as a frog is not the recorded prerequisite.

Bring snowballs and make sure you can place a respawn anchor. The controls reference lists the recorded bindings; sweels uses held 1 and 2 for placing and returning to the anchor.

Locate and activate the fox statue

  1. Ride the eastern lift

    From the lodge, head right to the eastern/freestyle lift near the ice pond. Ride it to the upper area by the skate park.

  2. Find the statue above the target

    At the lift’s top, note the nearby target, then walk uphill in its direction into the trees. The fox statue is in that grove.

  3. Identify all three targets

    One target is below the statue toward the lift, another is off to the side in the trees and one is close to the statue. Scout them before starting the timed throws.

  4. Prepare a quick return

    Place an anchor at the statue. Start with the hardest/farthest target, return when useful and hit the others in quick succession. The guide describes roughly 15 seconds between activations; coordinated friends can each handle a target.

  5. Claim while the indicators are lit

    When the three blue depressions and statue eyes are active, use the statue’s interaction prompt. Then select the base fox at a clothing chest.

If an indicator goes dark before you interact, repeat the target sequence. Do not rely on an unverified pixel-perfect aiming angle; the original linked guide contains the author’s sight-line pictures.

Use the fox for the Arctic variant

  1. Equip the normal fox

    Choose the base fox you just unlocked at a clothing chest.

  2. Repeat upside-down sled landings

    The author records 50 landings upside down/on your head while using the fox. A small repeatable slope or ramp with a nearby respawn anchor makes retries easier.

  3. Verify the new look

    Watch for the variant unlock, then reopen the chest and select Arctic Fox. A single crash or 50 snowball hits is a different action.

Other animal variants use different prerequisites. The skins directory keeps them separate.
